Hebrews 11:11 (NLT) says, “It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep His promise.”
This verse shows the power of belief. You don’t need to know how or when God will fulfil His promises. You simply need to believe that He will because He said so. Numbers 23:19 (NLT) reminds us, “God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind.” God is unchangeable and faithful, and when He gives His word, He is bound to fulfil it.
Take the example of God’s promise in the Garden of Eden. He had the power to end Satan’s rule instantly, but He spoke of a promise—a seed born of a woman, Jesus, who would redeem humanity and crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15). And God, in His faithfulness, kept that promise through Christ, fulfilling His word.
So, trust in God’s word, for it will never fail you. Isaiah 55:11 (NLT) says, “It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Our God is good, faithful, and righteous. If you seek true, lasting joy and peace, stay rooted in Him. Don’t let the distractions of the world cause you to lose sight of God.
Remember, nothing is too difficult for Him (Jeremiah 32:17), and He always keeps His promises.
